Ismalia, Egypt

My Beloved Angee,

I came here from Cairo last night arriving at 2 this morning to embark on board the P & O Sutlej for Bombay this afternoon – my writing to P.F.&Co. alone has taken me all the morning and I have such a budget of news for you that I could not possibly write by this mail but D.V. shall have a little quiet once more for a fortnight or so to Bombay and will endeavour to write about all the deeply interesting things that have transpired during the past week.

Through mercy I am well and have not found it nearly so hot and trying this year as on my last visit to Egypt. Was very glad to receive a long letter from dear Harry just before leaving Cairo and am very thankful to hear such good reports from him.

Now with much love my dearly beloved wife and all our dear children and their little ones which please kiss for me believe me once more.

Being very affectionate Husband
