My Beloved Angee,

By the last mail I received a letter from P.F.&Co. in answer to my request wishing to return home and being set free I at once called that I was returning by the Arcadia and would arrive at Plymouth end of August. Have had a busy time in packing up since and am now just on the point of embarking – we call at Melbourne 3 days, Adelaide 2 days and Albany on the way - I hope you will have written to me at some of the steamer's stopping places and if the Lord will I hope you may be well enough to meet me at Plymouth and stay at the Albion Hotel again. If Arundel is free I dare say he will accompany you. Thank God for all His abundant mercy and goodness and we may well trust Him for all that's to come.

Once more with much love to your dear self all our beloved ones believe me my dearly beloved Angee.

Being very affectionate Husband
